BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT® AND NETEASE RENEW LICENSE FOR WORLD OF WARCRAFT® IN MAINLAND CHINA

New agreement sets the stage for collaboration between the companies on the game’s upcoming fourth expansion set, Mists of Pandaria™

Shanghai, CHINA – March 20, 2012 – Blizzard Entertainment (NASDAQ: ATVI) and NetEase.com (NASDAQ: NTES) today announced that they will continue their existing cooperation on Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft® in mainland China. The new license will continue for an additional three years following the expiration of the current license agreement.

The companies have been working together to bring World of Warcraft to Chinese gamers since 2009. In that time, they have successfully launched Wrath of the Lich King® and Cataclysm®, the game’s second and third expansion sets, in mainland China, and earned the enthusiastic support of gamers across the country. In addition to World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase’s existing partnership covers Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft® III and StarCraft® II, as well as the Battle.net®gaming platform.

The extended license agreement further reinforces the existing partnership between Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase and lays the groundwork to bring Mists of Pandaria™, the upcoming fourth expansion to World of Warcraft, to mainland China. First unveiled at BlizzCon® 2011, Mists of Pandariafeatures a variety of elements influenced by Eastern culture and introduces a new playable race (the pandaren), a new class (the monk), an expansive new continent to explore, an all-new pet battle system, scenarios, challenge modes, and more.

Theme design coming along good

Our new design is coming along pretty good. All we have to worry about now is editing the skin for the forums or other sections of the website. For the forums there might not be big problems as there are many designs out that are clean, white, and simple, but the navigation part we may have to pull over.

The header will only reside on the homepage as it has a dynamic function, later I may figure out how to implement the system functions over to the forums, but for now this is how we are going to work it.

Theme Problems

Well, I guess WordPress is a themer’s worst companion as it has the worse skins available, and theming is difficult for it as there are lack of instructions and code format…

I will have to search up a good design somewhere, maybe rip and improve from another site?? But compatability with the forum software is required… This is terrible…

Sigh, more content soon to come once the layout of the site is finished guys…

Fuck WordPress…

I don’t understand the concept of WordPress, I miss those old days when MKPortal was working in good condition, until 2 years ago it had to be shut down because of lazy ass development team (Sorry for my oppinion, you had great support and nice portal, but lacked in development process after 2008).

Now I am stuck with other alternatives and Joomla! is a pain in the ass… I came over to WordPress because I see many good features with it, but when it comes to managing it, this is another pain in the ass… I guess I would have to figure out a way to go around this…

I’m still having trouble managing the design and shit, so all you will see as of now is me complaining about how much WordPress is a pain in the ass, lmfao….

Sigh, I wish it was as easy as MKPortal where I just completely rewrote all the theme files to fit my needs…

 

Anyways, thanks you for visiting this website, and hope you will get good information about your favorite game here very soon, but as of now you will see me raging about WordPress, haha.
